Kristina Miller is a curator, sociologist and works in her own artistic practice – mainly realizing projects and exhibitions at the interface between sociological phenomena, their social reproduction and the contextualization of the respective space. This is accompanied by a demand for political sensitivity and historical frames of reference. The works move in the field of tension between self-contained spaces, systems and decoupled, social milieus. They often delve into life worlds characterized by radicalization, the search for identity, and resignation. In doing so, Miller explores scene-typical visual languages through documentary recordings, photography, and video installations.
